Be Creative

"I don't want to just make a living. I want to live" - Oscar Wilde

We are all similar in many ways.

Haven’t we wanted to do something creative but instead ended up with doing something mundane? Why does it occur?

Self doubt is the obstacle for Creativity. Can we remove our self doubts?

There are 3 kinds of people.
1] People who have no desire for creative work.
2] People who have desire but also have self doubts.
3] People who have desire but no self doubts.

The first category is very rare.
And so is the third!

Most of us are in the second category. We feel that creativity is the privilege of the lucky few who do not have self doubts.
Self-doubt is something that plagues most creative souls at one time or another.

One of the best remedies for self-doubt is action. And the best way is to start small. Let go of the need to make a masterpiece. This moment, do something creative that brings delight.

Keep taking risks for your art. Taking risks helps squash those pesky self-doubts in a powerful way. Not all our risks will have the results we want, but every risk gives us the inner knowledge that we are capable of much more than we realize.

An artist is the one who can fail and fail and still go on - Agnes Martin
